Oracle Identity Manager

Application onboarding is the process of registering or associating an application with Oracle Identity Governance (OIG / OIM) so that OIM can provision or reconcile user information in or from that application 
 
 OIM provides a quick and convenient way to onboard applications by using the Applications option on the Manage tab in Identity Self Service. You can perform all the necessary configurations to onboard an application from a single console.

Application Onboarding (AOB)

As opposed to <Link href="/oimicf/components/definitions/properties/aob/">AOB Connectors</Link>, CI Connectors are the old way for deploying and managing the lifecycle of a connector.

Connector Installer (CI)

As opposed to <Link href="/oimicf/components/definitions/properties/attrPropagationBulk/">Bulk Attribute Propagation</Link>, Single Attribute Propagation is the process by which <Link href="/oimicf/components/uiUserAttributes/">User Attributes</Link> are modified, and then propagated to their <Link href="/oimicf/components/uiAccounts/">Accounts (Process instances)</Link>. For example, if a User's First Name is updated, then all their respective accounts would have the First Name updated as well.

Attribute Propagation

As opposed to <Link href="/oimicf/components/definitions/properties/attrPropagation/">Single Attribute Propagation</Link>, Bulk Attribute Propagation is the process by which more than one <Link href="/oimicf/components/uiUserAttributes/">User Attributes</Link> are modified, and then propagated to their <Link href="/oimicf/components/uiAccounts/">Accounts (Process instances)</Link>. 
 For example, if a User's First Name and Last Name is updated at the same time, then all their respective accounts would have both those fields updated as well at the same time in the same request.
