Reconciliation Field Mappings

Also known as Process. The Process Definition is where triggers and their effects all come together for provisioning and reconciliation and therefore is a critical component which must be configured correctly.

Name

The resource object's classification status. A resource object can belong to one of three types:
 <ul>
 <li>Application: Classifies this resource object as an application.</li>
 <li>Generic: Contains business-related processes.</li>
 <li>System: Oracle Identity Manager uses this type of resource object internally.</li>
 </ul>
 Do not modify system resource objects without first consulting Oracle.

Type

Double click this field to choose a <Link href="/oimicf/components/resourceObject">Resource Object</Link> which this <Link href="/oimicf/components/processDefinition">Process Definition</Link> is going to affect.

Object Name

The Resource Object which this will affect.

Resource Object

The name of the <Link href="/oimicf/components/form/">Process Form</Link> which this Process Definition is responsible for.

Map Descriptive Field

This check box determines if the current process is the default approval or provisioning process for the resource object with which it is associated. 
 
 Select the check box to set the process as the default approval or provisioning process for the resource object to which it is assigned. If you deselect the check box, the process will not be the default. It will only be invoked if a process selection rule causes it to be chosen.

Default Process

Option that determines whether or not a custom form will be populated by Oracle Identity Manager or a user. This applies to the following kinds of <Link href="/oimicf/components/form/">Forms</Link>:
 <ul>
 <li>Forms that are associated with the <Link href="/oimicf/components/processDefinition/properties/objectName/">configured Resource Object</Link></li>
 <li>Forms with fields that have <Link href="/oimicf/components/formPrePops/">Pre-Populate Adapters</Link> attached to them</li>
 </ul>
 If the Auto Pre-Populate check box is selected, after the associated custom form is displayed, the fields with <Link href="/oimicf/components/formPrePops/">Pre-Populate Adapters</Link> are populated with data. 
 
 Note: This setting does not control the triggering of the <Link href="/oimicf/components/formPrePops/">Pre-Populate Adapters</Link>. It determines if the contents resulting from the execution of the adapter are displayed in the associated field because of Oracle Identity Manager or a user. 
 
 Note: This check box is only relevant if you have created a form that is to be associated with the resource object.

Auto Pre-populate

By selecting this check box, Oracle Identity Manager saves the data in any resource-specific form that was created by using the <Link href="/oimicf/components/form/">Form Designer</Link> form without first displaying the form. 
 
 If you select this check box, you must supply system data, a rule generator adapter, or an entity adapter to populate the form with the required data. The user will not have access to the form if you do not populate the form with the required data. 
 
 Note: This check box is only relevant if you have created a form for the provisioning of the resource object.
