Advice & Recommendations
This is 1 of 2 determinants of how a resource is linked to an entity in OIM.
- Reconciliation Action Rules - Determines how to match a resource to an Account. These rules are evaluated in the first instance to determine if a link can be established. If a link can indeed be established, the result is an account update.
- Account Discriminator - The actual form properties which link to an existing Account in OIM.
- Reconciliation Rules - Determines how to match a resource to an Identity only if the outcome above was "No Matches Found". If a match is consequently found here against an identity, then the following actions occur...
- For Target Reconciliation...
- For User resources, this means creating an Account under the matched Identity
- For Organization resources, this means creating an Account under the matched Organization
- For Trusted Reconciliation...
- For User resources, this means creating a new Identity
- For Organization resources, this means creating a new Organization
- For Target Reconciliation...
