Description
Depending on how you define your reconciliation action rules, Oracle Identity Manager automatically links data in a reconciliation event to a user or organization record when only one match is found or when no matches are found for the trusted source

 Advice & Recommendations

This is 1 of 2 determinants of how a resource is linked to an entity in OIM.
  1. Reconciliation Action Rules - Determines how to match a resource to an Account. These rules are evaluated in the first instance to determine if a link can be established. If a link can indeed be established, the result is an account update.
    • Account Discriminator - The actual form properties which link to an existing Account in OIM.
  2. Reconciliation Rules - Determines how to match a resource to an Identity only if the outcome above was "No Matches Found". If a match is consequently found here against an identity, then the following actions occur...
