The Resource Object is like a container to link with all other metadata for a connector.

Name

The value used here is referenced elsewhere.

Object Name

 <li>To request the resource object for a user, select Order For User.</li>
 <li>To request the resource object for an organization, select Order For Organization.</li>

The setting you choose here affects this relationship.

User Profile / Organization Data

This is the resource object's classification status. Choose from the following:
 <ul>
 <li>Generic: Contains business-related processes.</li>
 <li>System: Oracle Identity Manager uses this type of resource object internally.</li>
 <li>Application: Classifies this resource object as an application.</li>
 <li>Disconnected: Only for disconnected applications.</li>
 </ul>

Type

You can select this check box if you want to use the resource object for trusted user reconciliation.
 By default, this check box is not selected. It is selected by default only for the Xellerate User resource object.
